Lodging suggestions

So the entire in-law (outlaw?) side of the family is wanting to go somewhere on vacation. Discussion of Beach (not sure which one, although I'd guess Myrtle or Nags Head or such), or Gatlinburg.

Anybody got any good places they stayed, suggestions, etc?

I know its going to be expensive (more than they think), and its probably better to get a house (or cabin depending where you go), probably be 6 people....so if hotels, looking at 2 or 3 rooms most likely.

Why not try either ST. Simon's Island or Jeckyll Island in Brunswick, Ga.? You are an hour north of Jacksonville, Fla.. an hour south of Savannah, Ga. Lots of things to see there.

I might also add that if you are all grown(ie. no kids under 18) this would be perfect for anyone.
